This annual and brassica mix of cool seasonal plantings brings out the sweet tooth of the deer with tillage radish, purple top turnips, rapeseed with a mixture of landio clover, asklike clover, intermediate clover and chickory will be up next spring for turkeys. To keep the clovers and chickory growing, be sure to mow often and fertilize 3 times per season with a 10-20-30 fertilizer to keep the vigorous growth of the clovers and chickory.
